India’s most forgetful city is Bengaluru, closely followed by the national capital New Delhi, according to a list released by the taxi-hailing firm Uber Technologies.
According to Uber Lost and Found India Index , Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata are at third, fourth and fifth places in this list of the most ‘lost and found’ items.
It further reveals that the most commonly forgotten items are mobile phones, rings, keys and wallets.
Interestingly, the uncommon items include puppies and bullet-proof vests.
According to the Uber index, its customers were the most forgetful in December, more so on the last day of the year.
It further shows that December 31 was also a Saturday, the most common day for Uber users to report a lost item.
According to Uber, it releases such lists in order to create awareness among its users about how they can recover the lost item.
