Begusarai captured the imagination of the nation due to the intense contest between communist candidate and former JNU students union president Kanhaiya Kumar and Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) leader Giriraj Singh.
Poll pundits said this would be a major contest as far as the Lok Sabha election is concerned, but according to the India TV-CNX Exit Poll, Kanhaiya would not pose a tough fight to Singh.
The poll survey has projected a victory for Giriraj Singh in an easy battle.
Begusarai went to polls on April 29 in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha election. The seat registered a voting percentage of 61.27 -- 2 per cent than last time's count.
