A 29-year-old resident of Bengaluru’s has filed a complaint with the police, claiming that she is tired of her husband dressing up and acting like a woman, and wants to be separated from him.
According to a Times of India report, the woman, who works for a software company at Bannerghatta Road, said her in complaint that her husband “loves wearing a sari and uses my makeup and accessories to dress up like a woman at night”.
She told the police that despite being married for a year, they haven’t had sex because her husband, who works in IT too, was impotent and behaved like a woman.
The couple had an arranged marriage in Bengaluru after the woman’s parents had zeroed iin on Naveen.
“But from their first night itself, Naveen would act like a woman. He wanted to wear a sari that night,” said Saraswathi, senior counsellor at Vanitha Sahayavani, a women's helpline run by the city police.
The woman made another shocking allegation claiming that her husband was only interested in ‘lesbian sex’ with her.
“Our marriage was not consummated due to impotency and congenital defects. He behaves like a woman. He goes to work in the day, and come home and wears sari at night,” said the woman.
On the other hand, her husband has agreed to the separation.
