Union Minister Arun Jaitley on Saurday said that the previous governments feared international backlash if they took any actions against Pakistan. However, the situation today is different. We have the diplomatic strength to strike against Pakistan and also bring back Indian Air Force pilot, who fell in Pakistan territory, back within 48 hours.
Talking to India TV Chairman and Editor-In-Chief Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat, Union Minister Arun Jaitley said there are many different ways to deal with Pakistan.
Responding to a question on ways to tackle with cross-border firing in times when Pakistan is recruiting terrorists in its army, Jaitley said, "Strengthening your own self is the first step."
"We brought back our brave Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan within 48 hours after he fell within the Pakistan borders."

Further speaking about the ways to deal with terror attacks led by Pakistan, the Union minister said, "The diplomatic and economic strength of the country is of utmost importance."
"A government who is focussed on uplifting the country and has the courage to take decisions and change the monotony can deal with such attacks," Jaitley said.
Talking about surgical strike post the Uri attack and the recent air strike, Jaitley said, "The world has witnessed surgical strike and air strike, one in which we crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and the other in which we crossed over the international border."

"Not even a single nation of the world questioned the actions we took against Pakistan," the Union minister said.
