Furious over poor maintenance services and disgraceful condition of essential items installed by the builder, residents of Greater Noida West based Arihant Arden residential society today held a silent demonstration outside the office of management here.
Unfazed by the protest, the staff here didn’t bothered to heed their problems and threatened to return to their flats. When their complaints remained unheard for long, the protestors locked the office to push for their basic demands.
Residents said that they are demanding quality in the services for which they have already paid a huge sum of amount at the time of possession. They said that the condition of basic amenities like supply of clean water, tight security, uninterrupted power supply etc etc here are miserable.
They said that the builder had taken the maintenance charge for two years in advance. But they were never consulted before changing the franchise of several maintenance departments, thus inviting flak from the occupants.
Fearing residents’ ire may take a new turn, the management later assured them to look into their grievances at the earliest and fixed a meeting with Kaushal Jain, Managing Director, Arihant Infra Realtors Pvt Ltd, for today at 5 pm.
