Anti-Pakistan slogans raised in J-K assembly over unprovoked Pak shelling at border

Members of the opposition were seen calling out Pakistan for repeated ceasefire violations resulting in casualties to the Indian troops and civilians residing along the border.

The Jammu and Kashmir assembly on Saturday echoed with slogans against Pakistan over unprovoked firing and subsequent deaths on the Indian side. 

Members of the opposition were seen calling out Pakistan for repeated ceasefire violations resulting in casualties to the Indian troops and civilians residing along the border. 

Since Wednesday, six people, including an Army jawan and two BSF personnel, have been killed and over three dozen, mostly civilians, injured in mortar shelling and small arms fire from across the international border and LoC. An army jawan and a BSF head constable were among the four killed on Friday.
