A bag containing explosive material was found on Tuesday in a forest near the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Andhra Pradesh.
Red sanders Anti-smuggling Task Force and devotees were suspected to be the targets of the miscreants.
The site from where explosives were recovered is at a distance of 3 kilometres from Sri Varimettu which is on the way to Tirumala shrine.
Meanwhile, the police has launched a probe into the incident.
