Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, whose TDP on Friday pulled out of the BJP-led NDA, mounted a scathing attack on the Prime Minister’s Office for allegedly entertaining criminals.

During a teleconference with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) politburo members, Naidu trained guns on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for using TDP’s rivals to weaken the party and politically destabilize the state.

According to TDP sources, Naidu alleged that the BJP was running a drama with the help of YSR Congress Party on one side and actor politician Pawan Kalyan on the other.

Naidu said YSR Congress MP Vijay Sai Reddy was running around the PMO, which proves the conspiracy against the TDP and the state.

“By giving appointments to A1 and A2, what message the PMO is sending to people,” he asked in a reference to YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy, who were accused in corruption cases.

“What has an economic offender to do in PMO?” he asked, reiterating the allegation that the YSR Congress was acting at the behest of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Naidu also said that people like Nirav Modi, accused in the Punjab National Bank fraud case, were allowed to leave the country.

The TDP chief alleged that a conspiracy was hatched against Andhra Pradesh and said those involved would face the wrath of the people.

Referring to Pawan Kalyan’s criticism of TDP, Naidu said a person who was silent for four years had suddenly started making allegations against his party instead of questioning the BJP and Modi. He said the Jana Sena chief had colluded with the YSR Congress.
