BJP president arrived in Jammu on Saturday afternoon. He is scheduled to address a rally in the city to mark the 65th death anniversary of Bhartiya Jan Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee.

This is Amit Shah’s first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after the BJP withdrew support from the Mehbooba Mufti government in the state.

Governor’s rule was imposed in the state after the BJP pulled out of the Mehbooba government.

After Shah’ arrivals, the activists of BJP Yuva Morcha took out a motorcycle rally from the airport to the Canal Road guest house.

Shah had called all BJP ministers to New Delhi after which party national general secretary Ram Madhav announced withdrawal from the ruling coalition in the state.
