One person was killed and four others were injured after violent clash broke out between two groups in Amethi of Uttar Pradesh.
The incident has been reported from Jagdishpur area of Amethi. Initial reports suggest old rivalry is the reason behind these clashes
The situation in the area is tense and heavy police force has been deployed.
The clash in Amethi comes just days after a communal clash led to the death of a youngster in Kasganj.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made it clear that his government will deal strictly with those indulging in acts of violence.
"Government will not tolerate any kind of corruption or anarchy in the state, strict action will be taken against anyone who indulges in such acts," CM Yogi Adityanath was quoted as saying by ANI.
