A body of clerics of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti shrine have decided to challenge the acquittal of seven accused, including Swami Aseemanand, in the 2007 Dargah bomb blast case in the Rajasthan High Court.

The Anjuman Syed Zadgan, a parent body of khadims, has decided to move the high court, Secretary for Anjuman Syed Zadgan, Syed Wahid Angarahshah Chishty said.

"Most of the witnesses turned hostile. Devotees of Khwaja Saheb from all faiths have expressed their support till justice is delivered. We will move the high court against the lower court verdict," he said today.

Sadhvi Pragya Thakur was an accused in the case, besides Sandeep Danga, Suresh Nair, Ramchandra Kalsangra - who have been declared absconders.

"We have enough reasons to go to highest court till we get the justice. We are preparing an appeal to be filed in the Rajasthan High Court," Chishty added.

The NIA court had on March 22 awarded life imprisonment to Devendra Gupta and Bhavesh Joshi.

Sunil Joshi, who was named in the charge sheet, was found dead in mysterious circumstances at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh in 2007.

Three persons had died in the blast that took place on October 11, 2007, minutes before "iftaar" during the month of Ramzan.

The NIA did not press the charges against the accused Sadhvi Pragya and RSS ideologue Indresh Kumar, on grounds of insufficient evidence.
