Mumbai: After Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani flaunted a lean look recently, now it is Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis who has caught media’s eye for the same reason.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the BJP leader has lost nearly 18 kilos in three months.

“When Fadnavis consulted a doctor in December last year, he weighed nearly 122 kg, but after following a disciplined routine his weight has now dropped down to 104 kg. His target to get that lean-mean look is 88-90 kg. If he keeps at his diet-exercise regimen with the same vigour he has had since February when he started it, he should achieve success in three more months. The routine reportedly includes a mix of medicines to enhance metabolism, a proper diet and a weekly two-hour regimen, “the daily reported.

The report further talks about the weight-loss journey of CM'S wife Amruta. It says that the way she lost her weight was the real inspiration behind the CM's transformation.

The Maharashtra chief minister's wife Amruta told the newspaper, "He had lost weight earlier but gained it again due to work pressure and erratic schedule. After I started my weight loss programme and lost about 5-6 kg, he was inspired."

Fadnavis has been advised to have three meals a day that includes a balance of proteins and fats, minimised carbohydrates and fibre, the report said.

Fadnavis diet chart says that he is allowed to have a cup of tea a day, but a big no to junk food.
