39 trains delayed, 15 cancelled as cold wave intensifies in Delhi

As per the Indian Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will be 25 degree Celsius, with lows of five degrees.

As cold wave intensified in the national capital on Thursday, as many as 39 trains were delayed, 15 cancelled and 11 were rescheduled due to low visibility.

The weather office has forecast a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity in the air was 100 per cent at 8.30 am. Furthermore, a dense layer of fog is expected to be seen during the day. 

Maximum  temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius, three degree Celsius above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 5.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
