Maharashtra politics: Sitting Amravati MP Navneet Rana's husband and Maharashtra MLA Ravi Rana made a big claim, stating that Shiv Sena (UTB) chief Uddhav Thackeray would be seen alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi within 15 days of the swearing-in ceremony of the NDA-led BJP government at the Centre. The Lok Sabha elections results are scheduled to be announced on June 4.

Ravi Rana's wife Navneet Rana, the sitting MP from Amravati, contested the Lok Sabha poll from the seat this time on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's ticket.  In 2019, Navneet Rana won the Lok Sabha poll from Amravati as an independent candidate.

What did Ravi Rana say?

Rana said, "The results of the elections will be announced on June 4.  The people of Amravati have shown their support for Navneet Rana with a substantial number of votes as the momentum was in favour of Prime Minister Modi. The development initiatives undertaken by the Prime Minister for Amravati, along with the efforts of MP Navneet Rana and Deputy CM Fadnavis, have resulted in significant funds being allocated for the development of Amravati."

He further said, "The recent meeting held in Amravati by PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule signifies strong support for PM Modi." Ravi also suggested that Navneet Rana likely earned the votes of the people due to her developmental efforts.

What MLA Ravi Rana claims about Uddhav Thackeray?

Ravi Rana confidently said, "15 days after PM Modi's swearing-in, Uddhav Thackeray will be standing by his side. That's certain."

"Seeing Navneet Rana's endeavours, even the local leader of MVA has extended support to her. I am confident that Navneet will secure victory in Amravati by a margin exceeding 2 lakh votes. I had asserted during the elections and even after voting concluded that Navneet would emerge victorious, and you will witness this on June 4."
