Maharashtra politics: Sitting Amravati MP Navneet Rana's husband and Maharashtra MLA Ravi Rana made a big claim, stating that Shiv Sena (UTB) chief Uddhav Thackeray would be seen alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi within 15 days of the swearing-in ceremony of the NDA-led BJP government at the Centre. The Lok Sabha elections results are scheduled to be announced on June 4.
Ravi Rana's wife Navneet Rana, the sitting MP from Amravati, contested the Lok Sabha poll from the seat this time on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's ticket. In 2019, Navneet Rana won the Lok Sabha poll from Amravati as an independent candidate.

Rana said, "The results of the elections will be announced on June 4. The people of Amravati have shown their support for Navneet Rana with a substantial number of votes as the momentum was in favour of Prime Minister Modi. The development initiatives undertaken by the Prime Minister for Amravati, along with the efforts of MP Navneet Rana and Deputy CM Fadnavis, have resulted in significant funds being allocated for the development of Amravati."
He further said, "The recent meeting held in Amravati by PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule signifies strong support for PM Modi." Ravi also suggested that Navneet Rana likely earned the votes of the people due to her developmental efforts.

Ravi Rana confidently said, "15 days after PM Modi's swearing-in, Uddhav Thackeray will be standing by his side. That's certain."
"Seeing Navneet Rana's endeavours, even the local leader of MVA has extended support to her. I am confident that Navneet will secure victory in Amravati by a margin exceeding 2 lakh votes. I had asserted during the elections and even after voting concluded that Navneet would emerge victorious, and you will witness this on June 4."
Maharashtra Lok Sabha Election 2024 Exit Poll
The India TV-CNX Exit Poll predicted a massive victory for the BJP-led NDA with 371-401 seats. The Congress-led INDIA bloc may win 109-139 seats.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may win 18-22 seats, Shinde's Shiv Sena may get 5-7 seats, Ajit Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) 1-3 in Maharashtra while INDIA bloc members including Uddhav's Shiv Sena may win 9-13 seats, Sharad Pawar's NCP is expected to get 4-5 seats, Congress 4-6, according to India TV-CNX exit poll.
State with the second highest Lok Sabha seats -- 48 -- went for polls in the first five phases during the Lok Sabha elections. In Maharashtra, the BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party contested polls as part of the Mahayuthi alliance while Congress, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena and Sharad Pawar's NCP fought elections under Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance who are also part of the opposition's INDIA bloc. Results of the Lok Sabha elections will be declared on June 4.
