Mumbai shocker: Human finger found in cone ice cream ordered online, police probe on

The doctor, who found the human finger in the ice cream, reached Malad police station. Police took cognizance of the matter and registered an FIR. They sent the finger for forensic test.

In a bizarre incident, a man found a human finger inside a cone ice cream in the Malad area, ​​Mumbai, Maharashtra. A doctor named Orlem Brandon Serrao (27) said his sister ordered a cone ice cream - Yummo butterscotch - from a home delivery app on Wednesday in which the finger was spotted..

Never did Serrao imagine that this ice cream would give him a shocker that he could not forget ever. As the doctor started licking the ice cream, he found a severed human finger inside it which was about 2 centimeters long. 

According to police, the person who found the severed finger inside the ice cream is an MBBS doctor by profession and his sister had ordered the ice cream along with groceries for the house.

Upon receiving information regarding the finding of a finger inside ice cream, the police officials registered a case and initiated an inquiry into the matter. 

An FIR was registered at the Malad Police Station. Police said they would also investigate the place where this ice cream was manufactured.

"We have initiated an investigation to find whose finger is it. An FIR is lodged and the finger has been sent to forensic lab," the official said.
