A family in Madhya Pradesh has alleged that their nine-day-old baby suffered burns during phototherapy for jaundice at a government hospital in Shahdol. The hospital denies the claims, attributing the injuries to a skin condition.
The accused were identified as Salim Khan and Lalu Khan who allegedly raped the 13-year-old tribal girl on Independence Day in Madhya Pradesh's Tikamgarh. The two people were arrested after a formal complaint was filed recently.
