Summer means it’s time to go on a vacation and let loose. Imagine yourself sitting on the beach and the sea waves washing the shore at intervals. Who doesn’t like a vibe like that? But a vacation with the kids is far more tiring than a vacation without them. There are so many things that you have to take care of with kids, from their clothes to their food and their basic essentials. Trust me it's not easy. But we have decoded the checklist of what should one pack for the beach so that your family can make the most of your vacation.
Waterproof, large tote-style bag
Yes, a waterproof bag that keeps its contents safe even after it gets wet or is covered with sand. It is the perfect thing to carry all your sand toys, beach umbrella or your beach towel in. The bag can actually carry a lot of useful things without any danger of getting ruined.
Water Sippers for Kid, Food
Make sure that the sipper is not made of plastic, it should have moderately cold water and made of food-grade steel.
Well, you know kids want food after every half an hour. Rather than getting annoyed with them for asking for food while travelling, make sure you have enough to keep them satisfied for long hours. Plus all that playing in the sand and dipping in the water gets so exhausting that little bit of beach lunch is necessary. Don’t you think?
Flip Flops for All
No matter how much you plan to stick to your sandals, shoes or any footwear, it is a given that you will ultimately find your flip-flops as your best companion. Easy to wear and comfortable on the feet, your children are going to love you for it.
Sunscreen, lots of it!
You cannot go to the beach vacation without sunscreen. Kids’ skin is delicate and it needs protection from the sun rays when exposed to it for long hours. There are special creams for children that don't harm their skin. Make sure to pack generously. Come home from the beach with seashells, and maybe some sand, but no sunburns!
First-aid Kit
Cuts and scrapes happen, especially when you are with kids. So it is a good idea to travel well-prepared for anything that comes your way. Take along some Neosporin and Band-Aids on hand just in case
