3. Beauty lies in eye not liner!
Many women commit the blunder of overly highlighting their eye with broad eyeliner, miss-match eye shadows and catty eyes. You must accentuate the beauty of your eyes and not gaud them with thick line of kajal or liner making round out till it meets up with the end of your brows.
Do not forget to moisturize the skin around your eyes too before applying liner or kajal. Stick to keeping your eye makeup a natural one in day and during night you can add a bit of smoky effect.
Avoid heavy bright coloured eye-makeup as they may turn up looking shimmery and gaudy on camera. Mind you the ones shown on magazine pages are digitally enhanced.
4. Highlighting too many things
While you are applying makeup concentrate on the area (P.S not areas) that you want to grab the attention. Don't make your entire face shouting for attention.
Many times women go a bit overboard by putting thick layer of blush, equally heavy eye-makeup and glossy lips, that leaves people a bit confused and they end up either ignoring or staring at you.
Go by one day one asset rule, if your eye-makeup is heavy then keep the other parts of your face calmer and sober.
5. Glossy-fied lips!
Not every woman should opt for highlighting the crease of your lips with darker or unmatched lip liner. Instead go for a tone just a bit darker than your lip colour.
Women either use black-brown lip liner with pink, maroon, and red lip colour result in horrendous results.
Also avoid applying too much gloss to last moisturizing effect, instead go for a lip balm or moisturizer for your lips first before applying anything.
Never match lip colour with your dress... please! Many women prefer to match up lip colour with dress, sometimes burgundy, brown, dark pink, fuchsia, purple, mauve etc that turns into a glossy zombie.
Important note: The basic step for a perfect makeup look is to regularly moisturize your skin. Each night apply moisturizer before sleeping.
