New Delhi: In her four-year Bollywood stint, Sonakshi Sinha has flaunted her long lustrous locks in different styles–poker straight to soft waves.
But now this ‘Dabangg' lady has dared to sport short hair. After her courageous step of cutting her hair short, Sonakshi is often seen experimenting with her bob.
The actress is on promotional spree with co-star Arjun Kapoor for her upcoming film Tevar and was seen in different avatar.
Carrying a bohemian look Sonakshi was seen with a brand new hair colour.
Sonakshi has dyed her lustrous hair to berry burgundy colour. The actress not only carried the look with confidence and style but looked happy too.
Few days before Sonakshi Sinha who was adored for her long, beautiful hair has surprised everyone by opting a shoulder length hair cut.
As quoted by a leading daily, "I'm a very impulsive person. I've been wanting to change my hairstyle for the longest time now, but I couldn't because I was stuck in the continuity of the films I was shooting. One day I woke up and realised I'm done shooting all my films, I only have to promote my next two releases and the next film I start is in January. I ran to the salon and chopped them off," Sinha says. "I feel great. Liberated actually. It takes me all of four minutes to dry my hair after a wash."
She thanked her hairstylist, Kanta Motwani, who runs Kromakay salons across different parts of the city for her new hairstyle.
Hairstylist Kanta Motwani also shares her happiness, "I always feel happy when a celebrity sits on my chair and says she wants to go short and I think—wow, now the trend is going to change.” Motwani believes that the younger lot in the industry has a real power to change people's perceptions on trends, and it's almost like a social responsibility to keep changing their hair.
The actress no doubt looks slimmer and refreshing in her new look and has inspired many young girls to go for short hair.
