London: Most single people check a person's ring-finger before making a move and get the conversation rolling, reveals a study.
Online dating site Match.com, which conducted the study, has found that three quarters of British respondents admitted that they look out for a wedding ring when they meet someone on a night out, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Four in ten said they will look for a wedding ring even before they start talking to someone.
If we go by percentage, women were more likely to look for a ring than men. As many as 81 percent of the women respondents said they would check the ring-finger, while 70 percent of men admitted to the habit.
