New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's wedding kept Indian media on toes for a while. After every ceremony, the couple was showered with compliments on their style sense and simplicity by media and fans in India. Mira Rajput was bestowed with the title of a beautiful swan, who doesn't need much to look eternal.
The media of our neighbouring country- Pakistan, however, has a different take on the super cute celebrity couple.
Pakistan's one of the leading newspapers – Dawn has come out with an analysis of ensembles that Shahid-Mira sported at their reception in Mumbai recently. The paper also suggested that the college girl should have engaged Pakistani designers to get better wedding dresses.
Apart from Shahid-Mira, other Bollywood fashionistas like Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut and Priety Zinta were also on the paper's radar.
Mira Rajput, who was complimented for being simple and classy in India, would get a rude shock to know that her dress was compared with a porcelain china plate!
Our style diva Sonam Kapoor who is known for her fashion sense worldwide was called, “dulhan ki bhen, desperately fishing for a rishta aunty.”
That's not all petite beauty Alia Bhatt who sported Manish Malhotra creation, on the occasion, was given a piece of advice on what she could have sported to actually look like a stunner.
Preity Zinta was taken a jibe at for choosing a saree that's out of fashion and belongs of 90s era. Whereas Kangana Ranaut was spared with a comment that, “there was a room for improvement.”
