New Delhi: Richa Chaddha certainly enjoyed her moment at the Cannes 2015. The lady who happened to be there for the screening of her upcoming 'Maasan' garnered a lot of praises, both for her looks and performance in the film.
And this is not just it. This Neeraj Ghaywan directorial got a 5-minute long standing ovation too.
The leading lady of 'Maasan,' Richa Chaddha herself posted that she went teary eyed witnessing the giant appreciation that the film got.
Richa was dressed in a gorgeous Sabyasachi saree, the one that we have seen on Deepika Padukone as well. Completing her screening look was a deep-cut gold sequined blouse and matching gold Sabyasachi box clutch.
What accentuated her sensuous desi look at Cannes 2015 was a perfectly opted hairdo. Richa decided to tie her hair in a soft-bristle knot that did wonders for her.
Prior attending the screening, the talented Bollywood actress went for a photo call for her film wearing a vibrantly hued Giles Deacon.
What would excite you more to know is the fact that the lady chose to wear British designer who also designed the abstract print black-grey gown for Hollywood diva Cate Blanchett.
While Cate was first to adorn the beautifully dramatic gown from the designer at Cannes red carpet this year, Richa definitely impressed the fashion police by donning the fab designer unexpectedly.
'Maasan' was selected for screening in Un Certain regard category this year, along with Gurvinder Singh's 'Chauthi Koot'.
The film also stars Sanjay Mishra and Shweta Tripathi in other pivotal roles.
As far as Richa's vivacious looks are concerned, all brownie points to her to sport Indian traditional, unlike a few of other noted glamorous faces out there!
