The advent of modern cell phones and hand held devices, embedded with latest technology and exquisite features created quite a rage among tech-freaks.
These devices have kept the world at their finger tips; a hell lot of people (esp. the Gen-X) have developed this annoying habit of constantly ogling at their phones, sometimes even on others too.
It irks the person who is trying to make a friendly conversation.
Lack of eye contact makes a conversation soul-less. You don't have to look elsewhere to find such people, they are all around us.
This video is a satire with a very subtle message, set in the of 19th century, where a posh British family is meeting for a breakfast and every family member barring one keeps staring at their respective phones.
As the guy in the video, very aptly puts it, “if we are not careful, then these new telephones will put an end to the civilized discourse forever.”
Are you still ogling at your phone right know?
Better look up maybe someone needs your attention...
