On the other hand, our Cannes red carpet veteran - Mallika Sherawat has surprised one and all with her refreshing and mind you 'covered up' look. The Bollywood seductress who is known for her skin show since 'The Myth' days has suddenly opted for conservative dressing and demure personality.
Mallika Sherawat till now made two appearances including one red carpet look. Considering her bold avatar the 'Dirty Politics' actress is opting for much covered up outfits this time. She first turned up in a canary yellow gown at the inauguration of Indian pavilion at the event. The actress, who is always criticised for her dressing, looked pretty in a bright gown with flawless makeup and simple straight bouncy hair.
She kept her look quite simple by not adorning any jewellery. The dress didn't even reveal cleavage or her smooth back. Mallika also shot for a French magazine in that breezy yellow gown.
Her second look at Cannes 2015 has also won laurels. Mallika sported an Alexis Mabille gown on the red carpet with a statement diamond neck piece from Boucheron, red lips and a side-swept hair do. Although she looked elegant, her hair and makeup could have been better.
Mallika's look was inspired by Lea Seydoux's look at Cesar Film Awards 2013. The actress sported a similar gown but with a different coloured cascading cape and also styled it differently.
Going by Mallika's brand new avatar, it seems she's planning really big this time.
