New Delhi: Kareena Kapoor who is playing a middle-class Maharashtrian girl drawing a lot of attention because of her ethnic, long, colourful, flowy skirts teamed with shirts and yes of course bonding with her on-screen love interest, Ajay Devgn.
The otherwise gorgeous Bebo, who has everything to envy the other leading ladies of Bollywood seems to falling flat with her look in #SinghamReturns.
The glamorous actress who can be seen donning shirts teamed with voluminous skirts, suits and other semi ethnic ensembles has made her look shapeless, fat and frumpy.
The attires are neither making her fit in a typical middle class background nor showing her in a modern side.
No doubt even in this mis-match and unconventional dressing, Kareena appears to have tried to look as stylish has she could look but we are disappointed with her not so convincing look as per her character.
Her crafty look that mostly includes Anupama Dayal designs doesn't add much to her entire appearance in the film.
If we go by her character in the film, she could have given miss to those usual shirts and instead opted for 70s knotted shirts as they look more fitted and feminine.The skirts are colourful and peppy but it is not making Kareena look younger.
From her hairstyle to her accessories in the movie, nothing has marked its presence on the fashion radar.
Even in one of the most awaited song 'Atta Majhi Satakli', Kareena has disappointed her fans when it comes to look. The bold actress, who would have looked radiant in typical Maharashtrian look, not only fails to do Lavani with all grace but also seems to be ill-fit in her Marathi-mulgi avatar.
Though Kareena looks sensuous wearing a Marathi saree but she is definitely missing on that X-factor. Also, her look reminds us a lot of her quirky ‘Halkat jawaani'; therefore, nothing unusual.
Singham Returns might have got everything from stupendous action, Ajay's brilliant power, Rohit Shetty's special touch but clearly a fashion miss-out on Kareena's part.
Kareena who always looks gracious and beautiful misses the oomph factor in the film. Her look is neither non-kitsch nor typical which is making her look dull on the screen.
Or we wonder is it because we do expect more from this sassy lady!
