According to reports, some researchers have found out that internal body clock may be a big contributor to the morning peak in heart attacks and ischemic strokes.
As per corresponding author Frank A.J.L. Scheer, PhD, director of the Medical Chronobiology Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH), the circadian system, or the internal body clock, is among the highest contributor to the increased risk for cardiovascular events in the morning.
