Panaji: A dark simmering Zuari river, its rippling waves luminescent in the moonlight and a kayak cutting through the current is what Goa has in store for tourists this month.
The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has tied up with a private kayaking outfit to come up with a "limited edition" special moonlight kayaking programme in April, an official said Friday. Kayaking is the use of kayak (small paddle boat) for moving across water.
"Moonlight kayaking on the Zuari (one of Goa's largest rivers) is a very special activity and we encourage everyone to participate in it and experience the joy and the serenity that it offers," GTDC chairman Nilesh Cabral told reporters.
