This year, the Chaturthi is beginning on September 9 and will go up to September 18, that is Anant Chaturdashi.The Ganpati festival is celebrated in India with much fun and fair, people worship Ganesh ji and fast to please the God in various ways mentioned in the Shastras.Pooja must be started only after performing ablutions.Begin the pooja by reciting “Om Shri Ganeshya Namah”Follow this by repeating “Om” thrice.
