New Delhi: American fantasy drama TV series "Game of Thrones" is one of the most popular television serial not just in America but in India too.

It is apparently inspiring beauty trends. Yes, you read it correct. From its costume to its hairstyle, the 'GoT' is inspiring many young girls to dress up as Sansa Stark and Daenerys Targaryen.

Set in the fictional background, it shows violent dynastic struggles among the realm's noble families for control of the Iron Throne.

The series has some of the exquisite dresses and to match up the attire, the actresses can be seen flaunting some quirky and easy hairstyles.

Whether it's Daenerys Targaryen's double braids or Sansa Stark's twisted twin buns, you can easily tie up your hair in same way and look similar like your favourite TV star.

Here are the three most popular and effortless hairstyles from the serial.

Sansa Stark's twisted twin buns

Step 1: Part hair from the centre. Take a section of hair just off the crown of your head and start braiding.

Step 2: Twirl the braid to form a bun. Secure with bobby pins. Repeat on the other side.

Step 3: Take a section of hair just above your ear and twist it. Secure it around the bun. Repeat on the other side.

Step 4: Using a tail comb, take a section of hair just below the buns and make a long plait.

Since this hairstyle looks great on hair with highlights, a coloured extension can be used to add the extra drama.

Step 1: Part hair from the centre. Take a section of hair just off the centre partition and start braiding (use inward braiding as opposed to the conventional outward one).

Step 2: Repeat on the other side. Twirl the two braids and secure with an elastic band.

Step 3: Take another section below the first one and just above your ear, and start braiding. Repeat on the other side. Twirl the two plaits, as well as the single one from the previous step, and secure them with an elastic band.

Step 4: If your hair is straight, use tongs with a wide diameter to create beachy waves.

Step 2: Take three small sections from one side, and as you start braiding, take the succeeding sections from within the hair.

Step 3: Finish up at the crown of your hair and make a braid.

Step 4: Repeat on the other side. Twist the two plaits, and secure them with an elastic band.

Step 5: Finish the look by applying hair spray.
