Take one-step at a time!
There is no rush, no one is pushing you in or out of it, so take your time. Prior to your depression state your life pace was different and know it is different therefore, the positive-progress pace will also take its own course and speed. So have patience, you'll do just great! Start with a small exercise, get up and see yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning and smile, do this for two weeks. In your third week start smiling when you see your friends, and family; do this for another two weeks. After four weeks of this exercise, start smiling for strangers and see how they smile back! That's it! And while reading this if you already started smiling then just continue with it!
