Step 5: Be Ready !
Know that you have his attention, his time, and his mind all for yourself. Now atleast start appreciating his effort. No not the efforts he had to put in to convince you (which otherwise had been the other way round). Appreciate things about his life, his career and whatever is related to him. Don't be a 'Clinger' please! Try just enjoying both of your efforts and life, till the time they say 'I Love you!'
