New Delhi: Newlywed Dia Mirza recently inaugurated the first edition of National Children's Film Festival here. And with that tremendous grace on her face, Dia looked every inch mesmerizing.

The former beauty queen sported a pistachio-green sari and teamed it up with silver jewellery, tying her hair neatly in a bun. While the actress spilled tons of dazzles with her appearance at the coveted film festival, what remained striking of the most in her appearance was that ‘sindoor.'

With her magnificent charm and fragile allure, Dia made sure to flaunt her newly married status and thus wore a red coloured sindoor.

Making that appearance more vivacious was her bright coloured bindi. Dia accompanied her entire supple look with a dash of bright bindi and flaunted the elegance in her personality.

While inaugurating the three day event, Dia mentioned how delighted she felt with her contribution to the lovely film festival.

"I have hosted the 16th edition of the International Children's Film Festival in my home town Hyderabad. Since my school days I used to be a part of that fest. When I was invited for the National Children's Film Festival here I immediately said yes," said Dia, who had an interactive session with kids on stage.

"I realised in my childhood that sound, light and image can convey love, emotion and thought. I feel that films can inspire and influence children in a very positive way," the actress-turned-producer said.
