2. Take over their phone/laptop/ipad
Don't just start suspecting him over his messages or chats or mails, instead start sounding general about each and everything on his phone/laptop/ipad whatever you can get your hands on.
And then slowly start replacing them with your choices, for example delete his favorite play list and replace it with 'Our songs list', 'Songs that reminding you of me'.
