New Delhi: Friendship is and has always been important part of Bollywood films.

Be it Jai-Veeru or Rahul-Anjali, friendship has always made silver screen colourful with its presence.

Since we are talking about Bollywood friends' jodis, how we can forget their unique style and trends that were set when they showered the screen with their friendship fervour.

From Rahul-Anjali's dungaree to Jai-Veeru's denim jackets, these Bollywood's raving friendship icons rule the silver screen in elan.

While most of you guys are busy sharing bands and writing special messages and passing gifts to your friends today, we have thought of bringing you a token of some of the most stylish on-screen friends.

Amitabh-Pran in Zanjeer (1973) - The movie defined all new rules of friendship. The dosti between Amitabh and Pran not just touched our souls but were also stylish in their own way.

While Amitabh rocked the cop look with great ease, Pran was seen wearing long kurta and bandi's with heavy beards.

Both had entirely different style but all together it was colourful to see them.

Jai-Veeru in Sholay (1975) - Both Jai and Veeru are the epitome of friendship. The magic of friendship and brotherhood was re-defined after Sholay.

Apart from their friendship, the other thing which grabbed our attention was their style. While Veeru used to wear denim jackets, Jai used to keep it on shoulder.

The cap that Veeru wore in 'Yeh Dosti Hum Nhi Todenge' became an instant trend that time. From Veeru's loud and peppy attire to Jai's sober and simple get-up, this jodi is defiantly the most stylish one we have so far.

Rahul-Anjali in Kuch kuch Hota Hai (1998) - The pair broke all the rules of friendship. Rahul-Anjali not just touched our heart with their devoted friendship but even with their sense of fashion and style.

Whether it's dungaree or Anjali's headbands, both Rahul and Anjali's style was the trendsetter. The way Anjali's tomboy looks changed to femininity, it changed many people thought that even tomboy girls can look pretty.

From headbands to short hair, the film was a true trendsetter.

Sameer-Kunal in Dostana (2008) - The boys in the movie wore some of the most colourful and bright attires. The floral print and T-shirts with unique messages made Sameer and Kunal look even more stylish.

Both Sameer and Kunal were seen wearing feminine prints to look like gay.

Farhan-Raju-Rancho in 3 Idiots (2009) - The rapport between Rancho, Raju and Farhan was certainly a thing to watch out in 3 idiots. It sure is something that everybody can relate to, no matter the age.

Farhan's striped shirts, Raju's short kurta's and Rancho's round neck T-shirts, the trio was dressed up in such a way that you always feel an irk to go back to your college days and once again relive all the ‘masti and hungama.'
