New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan the 'Shehanshah' of Bollywood was caught two-timing! Don't think otherwise, Big B wasn't involved in any fling but was spotted wearing two funky watches recently.
The legendary actor was caught making this colourful statement at a do in Mumbai. Clad in a white, 'Pathani kurta and salwar' teamed up with a beige pashmina shawl, BigB's black and fluorescent green watches added a pop of colour to his otherwise plain attire.
This is not the first time that the superstar has been caught sporting two watches. He started the trend of wearing two watches since he did 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap'.
After setting the trend, Amitabh Bachchan's son Abhishek revealed that it was not the actor who actually started the trend but his mother Jaya Bachchan who wore two watches to keep a track of Europe's timings, where Abhishek was studying.
While talking to a website, Abhishek had said, "The trend of wearing two watches was started by my mom. Since I used to stay in boarding in Europe, she used to wear two watches to know the time of both the places. Later on even dad followed her style to be aware of both the time zones. They used to talk to me according to the time in Europe. And this is the main reason for wearing two watches, but dad also made it a fashion now with the upcoming movie."
Apart from the two watches, Amitabh was also seen carrying multiple mobile phones. Well, he has recently spilled beans on carrying multiples phones.
While talking exclusively to India TV, the actor said, "I am a not exactly a gadget freak and have the regular phones. But I keep multiple phones, because if there's a network issue in one, then I can use another one."
Now that's what we call a superstar style!
