The much awaited and fashion show of the country, Lakme Fashion Week 2016 has begun on Tuesday.
The first day of this grand event saw ace fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani presenting his collections. But what caught everyone’s attention at the event was Tahiliani’s show stopper.
Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut had become Tarun’s muse at the LFW 2016 and looked like a true fashionista.
She seemed to be sheer goddess as she sashayed down the runway in a black satin skirt teamed up with an embellished jacket.
Kangan’s contemporary-styled ensemble was well complemented with her curly updo and she was indeed turning the heat on as she walked down the ramp.
Tarun Tahiliani, in his collection this year, has experimented with a lot of colours and embroidery work and the result has been fabulous. His outfits will totally fit into your winter wardrobe.
Held at St. Regis here, the gala will see the participation of 92 designers, with 15 sponsors backing some of the major shows that will feature the works of established as well as emerging names.
Interestingly, it is also reported that soon-to-be mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan will also walk the ramp for ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at his much-awaited grand finale at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2016.
However, no official announcement has been made in this regard so far.
