Not only Tarun Tahiliani’s effortlessly gorgeous bridal ensemble, but Reynu Taandon’s finest collection also added charm to Indian Couture Week 2017 Day 3. The showstopper Bhumi Pednekar looked like as if the royal blue traditional attire was fabricated just for her. The finest selection of colours also made designer Reynu Taandon’s collection a standout at the event. Her collection spoke of class, elegance and grace in its utmost form. Remaining true to her roots, Taandon in association with Rajnigandha presented collection titled "CYAN” which was inspired from the mysticism of peacock blue hues.
She showcased bold undertones of the Indian monsoon, intricate detailing and beautiful thread work that gently weaved in the magic and mysticism of peacock blue hues. The underplay of carefully used patterns of stripe that break the monotony, use of bold whites, glittering gold's, and the many shades of heavily embroidered silhouettes of aqua blue and green added more volume to her line.
One of the highpoint of the designs was the draping of the dupattas that has been elegantly fashioned to subtly reveal the essence of her entire collection, which was centred around the celestial beauty of calming cyan.Bhumi turned out to be a perfect showstopper in blue outfit.
"I felt so comfortable walking in this outfit and I can wear this at any point of my life," she told reporters.
Taandon’s collection was perfect amalgamation of traditional hand work and fashion. Bhumi Pednekar, who was the showstopper for Reynu Taandon’s couture at ICW 2017 day 3, will be seen next to Akshay Kumar in his upcoming Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. She will be sharing the screens with Ayushmann Khurrana later in Aanand L. Rai’s next Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan which is slated to release on September 1st, 2017.
