Mumbai: She may have made it to film industry through her modeling career, but Iranian beauty Mandana Karimi says she will always give priority to acting. Mandana, who became a household name after her stint at the last season of reality TV show “Bigg Boss,” said acting is what she always wanted to do.
“The experience of walking on ramp is amazing, but I have never been interested in runway. I always liked movies, visuals and commercials,” she said.
The actress made Bollywood debut with “Bhaag Johnny” and was last seen in “Kya Kool Hain Hum 3”. Mandana was the showstopper for young designer Agrima Batra at Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016’s Gen Next Show, and apart from movies she also opened up about her love for fashion.
“I love dressing up and coming to fashion weeks. It is amazing to see someone so young and doing so well with clothes. It is a great opportunity for them and I hope we will have more shows like this in future. Great to see young people getting a stage like this,” she said.
Mandana said she doesn’t believe in following trends and prefers to create her own style.
“I have my own style. I choose what I feel comfortable in. I don’t really go by trends,” she said.
