A study published in journal of the public heart association says that heart disease and stokes risk of a mother later in life, can easily be reduced through breastfeeding. Those women who breastfeeds their babies they have only 10 percent risk of getting prone to heart disease. After pregnancy, a mother possesses much health benefits which helps her in faster ‘reset’ of her metabolism. A women’s metabolism is highly bothered by her pregnancy. A Pregnant women’s metabolism dramatically gets changed because the fat stored in her body is essential ingredient to provide energy for her baby’s development. Peter from of university of oxford says- “stored fat is eliminated by breastfeeding itself. This process is so furious and beneficial for mother’s health.
An analysis of 289,573 Chinese women who has participated in the China Kadoorie Biobank study emphasized on the information (full of facts) about their reproductive history and other lifestyle related issues. If we shed some light on studies upon the research done previously, we will be clarified about short term health benefits of a mother in terms of weight loss and lower cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose levels after pregnancy.
According to Zheng Ming Chen, Professor of Epidemiology, University of Oxford-
"These findings should motivate and inspire more and more females around the globe dealing with pregnancy. The information should be widespread breastfeeding for the benefit of the mother as well as the child.”
With so many reasons why mothers who breastfed had a lower chance of heart disease and stroke than mothers who didn’t, the evidence that breastfeeding itself deserves the credit is weak.
