After the years of wait, Akshay Kumar was finally conferred with the prestigious National Award for his stellar performance in Rustom. However, his win was cross-questioned and criticised by many popular faces of film fraternity. But these smidgeons didn’t affect the Padman actor and he was proud to be the part of the glorious ceremony with his family.
Akshay Kumar marked the beginning of this important day in his life with his rather important people- his wife, Twinkle Khanna and son, Aarav Kumar. However, his youngest munchkin Nitaara gave a miss to this picture-perfect family photograph.
Sonam got a special mention for her amazing performance in Neerja. She attended the ceremony with her mains- Dad Anil Kapoor and Mom Sunita Kapoor. The style diva of Bollywood never misses out on Fashion. And when it comes to Indian attire, the actress looks even more ravishing than ever!
She was spotted wearing a pistachio-green sari with kundan jewellery. Her neatly done bun added charm to her feminine ensemble. Her father and ace Bollywood actor, Anil Kapoor was looking ageless in his black bandhgala.
The captivating moment of the whole ceremony was when the excited father Anil couldn’t contain his happiness anymore. In one of the clipping on the projector at stage showed Anil Kapoor trying his best to get the ‘best’ shot of his daughter Sonam. One cannot deny that no one can be a better photographer than a father who’s trying to capture his daughter’s best moments!
