Remember when your mother used to run after you so that you drink at least 2 glasses of milk every day? Well, she wanted you to grow stronger each day. In 2001, the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) selected June 1st as World Milk Day, to celebrate the important contributions of the dairy sector to sustainability, economic development, livelihoods and nutrition. To incorporate this healthy habit of drinking milk, the Global Dairy Platform is coordinating global celebrations on June 1, 2018.
The day has originated in order to raise awareness of how important milk is for healthy nutrition. If you haven’t thought about the various benefits of milk yet, we suggest sit down and take a look at everything milk does for your body that you didn’t know.

Milk is actually one of the tastiest things which help in weight loss rather than harming us. Even studies have proven that women who drink milk daily are more likely to lose weight than women who do not drink milk.
