Make some healthy laddoos
Make small healthy laddoos with key ingredients -sonth, gul and ghee. Add equal amounts of dry ginger, and jaggery as well. Eat these laddoos everyday; preferably start and end your day with one.
Advantages: These laddoos prevents inflammation and flu. Keeps sinuses clear and also, smoothens digestion.
Sugar cane syrup helps
Well, you have two options when we talk about sugar cane. You can either chew on it and spit the fibre out, or drink its fresh juice which is actually sugar cane syrup.
Advantages: Cleanses and helps detoxify the liver. Sugar cane also boosts the immune system and helps in beating lethargicness and low mood during smog.
Glass of milk is the night dose
A glass of milk made with special ingredients like -kesar, haldi and soaked sabja protects you from any infection. Heat milk and add kesar and haldi while still on the boil. Add 1 teaspoon of soaked sabja or tulsi seeds after you pour it in a cup. Here's a tip -you can also add powdered jaggery to taste.
Advantages: Volatile oils from kesar prevent skin and hair damage. Sabja beats infection, allergies and bloating; whereas, haldi and milk is the richesh anti-inflammatory combination.
Consume vitamins
Vitamin B12 easily fights against air pollution. This vitamin is also known as cobalamin and is an important water-soluble vitamin. Vitamin B12 plays an essential role in the production of your red blood cells. Other than this, vitamin D and carotene supplements are helpful in these situations.
H2O is the remedy to every problem
Drinking appropriate amount of water every day will anyway protect you from everything. Staying hydrated doesn't allow any other germ or infection to develop. Also, it is advisable to drink a glass of water with lemon juice at least twice a day to beat the smog-effect on your body.
Don’t give up on exercise
Many people say to stop exercising because of poor air quality but that is wrong. Do not miss out on your workout sessions and instead take your exercising indoors. Shifting your workout sessions indoor will protect you against smog.
Tip: Buy few air purifier plants to keep your home pollution-free.
