Ananya Panday's first-ever magazine cover OUT; SOTY 2 star is extremely grateful
Ananya Panday, who is the daughter of Bollywood actor Chunky Panday, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Dharma Production's Student of the Year 2 aka SOTY 2. The film is a sequel of SOTY which introduced a bunch of talented actors like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Siddharth Malhotra.
Starkid Ananya panday, ahead of her first Bollywood release, made her magazine cover debut. The actress took to her Instagram and shared the cover for the April issue of Elle India. Sharing the cover, she wrote: “My first cover!!!! Thank you @elleindia, @supriya.dravid, and @malini_banerji for making it so extra special for me! I’m so grateful, honoured and of course SUPER happy!!!” In the picture, we can spot Ananya wearing a mix-of-colours pantsuit from the label Tommy Hilfiger. Check out:
In an alternate cover shared by Ananya on the photo-sharing app, she wrote: “Happy happy happy!!!! Grateful grateful grateful!!!! Super super blessed!!!” as her caption. See it here:
She also shared a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, in which she talks about the process of shooting for the cover in ‘the beautiful city of Palermo’. She says, “Hi guys, I’m Ananya and I’m doing my first ever cover with Elle. They made it extra special for me by bringing me to the beautiful city of Palermo.” The video shows Ananya, wearing a flowing dress, posing in a heritage building in the Italian town. Directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar, Student of the Year 2 also stars Tiger Shroff and debutante Tara Sutaria.
Post Student of the Year 2, Ananya will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in a remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh. While sharing a picture with her co-actors, she wrote: "We’ll see you (with your pati/patni - aur woh) in theatres on 6th December, 2019!" as part of her caption. See here:
