In yet another incident, stones were pelted on Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat express train when it was between Kadur-Birur section in Karnataka by some unknown miscreants on Wednesday.
The incident took place at around 8.40 am after the train passed Kadur station.
According to reports, stones were pelted at EC-1, C5 coaches. The outer glass of the coaches were damaged, however, no passengers received any injuries.
This is the second time in this month (July) when Vande Bharat train was targeted. On July 1 also, stones were pelted on the same train.
The incident took place near Davangere Railway station between 3.30 pm and 4 pm on July 1. In this incident, the outer part of a windowpane in C4 coach was damaged.
