Miscreants pelted stones at Tamil Nadu-registered bus in Bengaluru, FIR registered

According to the information, the incident took place at the Satellite bus stop near Bharat Petrol Bunk when the bus was plying back to Tamil Nadu from KR Market.

A group of miscreants pelted stones at Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus in Bengaluru in the wee hours of Tuesday. According to the information, the incident took place at around 2.45 am at the Satellite bus stop near Bharat Petrol Bunk when the bus was plying back to Tamil Nadu from KR Market

The bus was carrying passengers at the time of the incident but fortunately, no injuries were reported. Following the incident, the driver of the bus, identified as Gunashekaran, filed a complaint.  Notably, Chamarajpet Police has registered an FIR and is in search of the accused.

Private transporters observed bandh in Bengaluru

Earlier on Monday, normal life was affected due to ‘bandh’ in Bengaluru, as commuters, officegoers and students faced inconvenience in getting auto rickshaws and cabs to their destinations.

The strike was called by the Federation of Private Transport Associations to press for their various demands with the police warning strict action against those indulging in any kind of mischief. The Federation comprises a total of 32 private transport associations.
