Karnataka: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday while addressing the people of Karnataka at 'Vijay Sankalp Samavesh’ promised that the Saffron party will provide a corruption-free government if they chose B S Yediyurappa as Chief Minister in the assembly election. In addition to this, he also promised the people of Karnataka to make the state number one in South India within five years.
'Give a chance to Yediyurappa' says Amit Shah
While addressing the people he said, 'Give a chance to Yediyurappa & we will give you a corruption-free government. The Congress & JDS are family parties. They will never be able to benefit common people & work for the upliftment of those in poverty.'
Addressing a public meeting at Sandur, a Congress stronghold, in this district, Shah also took potshots at the M Mallikarjun Kharge-led outfit and the JD(S), saying they were dynastic parties that cannot do good to the people. "On one hand there is PM Modi-led BJP strengthening India, and on the other, there is Rahul Gandhi-led Congress linked with 'Tukde-Tukde' gang", he said.
Let the lotus bloom
Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Vijay Sankalp Samavesh urged the people to let the lotus bloom, he said, 'BJP is fighting for a complete majority in Karnataka. People of Karnataka are resolved to make lotus bloom again. On one side it’s Modi Ji’s BJP & on other side, it’s Rahul Baba’s tukde tukde gang Congress.'
“Trust PM Modi and Yediyurappa once, and we (BJP) will give such a government that it will rid Karnataka of corruption and make it a number one state in South India,” Shah said Assembly elections are due in Karnataka by May.
