The Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru police has arrested five suspected terrorists for allegedly planning a blast in Karnataka's capital. Several documents and explosive materials have been recovered from their possession.
According to sources, the five accused had created a meticulous plan for a blast in Bengaluru. They were arrested and jailed for a murder case in 2017 before coming in contact with terrorists. The accused were lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison.
After receiving information about the attack, the police traced their location and arrested them. The accused have been identified as Syed Sohail, Umar, Junaid, Mudasir and Jahid.
