The political arena in Karnataka is ablaze with accusations as former Chief Minister and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy launches scathing remarks against Deputy CM DK Shivakumar. Amidst the proliferation of derisive posters, Kumaraswamy questions the integrity of Shivakumar, asserting that the Deputy CM's actions reveal his true origins.

The controversy deepened when HD Kumaraswamy accused DK Shivakumar of screening adult films in makeshift tents at Doddalahalli and Sathanur, painting a vivid image of alleged misconduct. Kumaraswamy contends that this behavior exposes Shivakumar's character and questions his suitability for public office. In response, Deputy CM Shivakumar vehemently denies the allegations, challenging anyone, including Kumaraswamy, to substantiate claims of any illegal activities within his constituency.

"He (DK Shivakumar) was screening adult films in tents at Doddalahalli and Sathanur. This shows where he comes from. That is why he's pasting posters now," said Kumaraswamy as quoted by news agency

In a tit-for-tat exchange, Kumaraswamy disparages Shivakumar's political standing, remarking on the dignity of pasting posters as emblematic of the Deputy CM's leadership. The former CM's comments escalate the verbal duel, as he asserts that such actions typify the party president's supposed dignity.

Reacting to the onslaught, DK Shivakumar expresses regret over Kumaraswamy's words, highlighting the former CM's seniority and emphasising the need for a more dignified discourse. Shivakumar challenges Kumaraswamy to visit his constituency and inquire whether he was elected with a resounding margin to showcase adult films, firmly stating his readiness to exit politics if allegations are substantiated.
