India TV-CNX Opinion Poll: If the Lok Sabha elections 2024 are held today in Karnataka the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is likely to get 20 seats while Congress may win 7 seats and JDS (Janta Dal Secular) might muster just 1 seat, according to India TV-CNX Opinion Poll on Saturday (July 29).

BJP is likely to get 47 percent of votes followed by Congress at 40 percent votes and just 9 percent of votes for JDS. Interestingly, Congress could muster only 7 seats in the Basavaraj Bommai-led state.
Karnataka- 2019 Lok Sabha Election Results
In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, out of the 28 total seats the saffron party had secured 25 seats while Congress could only muster a single seat. Meanwhile, JDS and Independent also got 1 seat each.

The projections are based on a poll conducted among a sample size of 44,548 eligible voters, of them 23,871 males and 20,677 females, spread across India.
