Bengaluru: A man slit the throat of his 24-year-old girlfriend minutes after they celebrated her belated birthday together in Bengaluru on Friday night.
The accused identified as Prashanth has been arrested. During the questioning, the accused said that he killed her because she was chatting with other men.
The deceased has been identified as Navya, a native of Kanakapura.
She lived in Bengaluru and worked as a clerk in the Internal Security Division (ISD) with the police department.
Navya’s boyfriend Prashanth, a distant relative of hers, also hails from Kanakapura and duo had allegedly fought over the issues multiple times in recent times.
